Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between BMR and TDEE?
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the calories your body burns at complete rest to keep vital functions running. TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) multiplies your BMR by an activity factor to estimate the calories you actually burn each day, including movement and exercise.
How are weight loss and gain calories calculated?
We apply a common 500-calorie daily adjustment to your TDEE. Eating about 500 calories below maintenance supports roughly 0.5 kg of weight loss per week, while 500 above supports gradual gain. These are estimates, so adjust based on your real-world results.
